Holiday in the Highlands!
Over the Bank Holiday weekend we took a trip up to Scotland into the Highlands. The views were spectacular! It was cold and windy, but we all had a great time! Mike and I agree, the highlands are definitely a must-see if you are ever in the British Isles!! We climbed a little ways up the Highest Mountain in the UK, took a Gondola ride up the Nevis Range, and went in search for the Loch Ness monster!

We had another great camping weekend! The Campsite was really lovely and had a nice creek and great open green spaces for the boys to run around and play. Saturday we went to High Force Waterfall. It was a great walk through the forest to get to the waterfall, and the waterfall itself was incredible. Sunday we took a country hike. We climbed up a nice little hill and got to see some amazing views of the countryside!

When you can't go camping!
We found this little tent at IKEA, and the boys set it up in their room and have slept in it for the last two nights!
Angel of the North
The Angel of the North sits along side of the A1 in Gateshead. The boys had fun sliding down her feet!
Picnic at Penshaw
The Penshaw Monument is only about 10 miles from our house. We had a nice little picnic and enjoyed the lovely weather that we have been having!
