Mackenzie Spring Break

We had so much fun with Mackenzie and Brenda on their visit. The boys were very excited to see their sister, and didn't want to leave her side the entire time she was here. While we were in London we go to ride the London Eye, and got some incredible views of the city, we got to see Big Ben which of course is Samuel's absolute favorite thing in London. We went to Durham and spent the day, as well as spenging an afternoon at Hadrian's wall. Mike took Brenda and Mackenzie up into the Highlands and they did some climbing and sightseeing. Then we all meet up in Glasgow to spend our final day with them before they headed back home. The weather was beautiful, however being on the go constantly proved to be a little to much for Samuel and by the end of their trip he was just a grump.
Dad with his boys - London Eye

Owen is into statue posing at the minute, so he is always doing something with his arms and saying "take a picture of this statue"

Kennsington Gardens

Tower hill park - Something seems a little wrong to build a playground where people used to gather to watch people be executed.

Brother - sisterly love

Durham

Love this picture - my favorite from the week

Hadrian's wall - Very Windy

It will take Brenda a month to go through all the pictures that she took.

I don't know who wore out faster, Mackenzie or Samuel...poor Owen had to go to school!

Brenda - Glasgow bus tour

Steven's family taking up the entire bus - Glasgow

After getting Brenda and Mackenzie to the Glasgow airport we headed home. On the way we stopped and got a picnic lunch and went to Chester's Roman fort and ran around and enjoyed the beautiful weather!
